It must have been so cathartic for Hollow Knight to tear open The Radiance after spending years with it locked up inside of themselves. One of my favourite moments in the game.
Congrats FBK, This is prolly the only game that almost made me cry to the ending, ive played undertale, a game known for its emotional moments yet this ending one made me feel more emotional than the asriel scene probably coz i had more hours on this than undertale, and was naive, less emotional kid who played UT back then who didnt pay much attention to the plot and theme(and i spoiled myself too). Even multiple HK content was spoiled for me and i didnt pay much attention to the story too, so maybe its gameplay time, being older, and more emotional that made me have a stronger bond to it.
We didnt get to see Fubuki's totally blind reactions for Undertale, but Hollow Knight totally makes up for it, if not more. On a broader topic, its nice seeing Japan discovering the absolute gem that is high quality indie video game scene. Indie games are practically unheard of there, and the very few that do exists are almost always treated like "low quality doujin games", because "why bother with games made by some random people on the internet when we have giant companies like Capcom, Bandai Namco, Nintendo, Square Enix, Sega, Atlus, Koei Tecmo, etc is here producing high budget games for us?"
I finally managed to do it by equipping Shape of Unn and Deep Focus haha. Never realized how much Dark Wah helps though, dang that first phase became quick.
Get all the health, soul and nail upgrades, then upgrade fragile strength and health into their divine versions. Once you have that Hollow Knight himself becomes easy and you can 100% focus on learning the Radience

I never get tired of Radiance first encounter. The way the music starts and all becomes white with the boss name in the middle is so epic!

最後の展開は本当に胸熱シーンなので、感動している姿を見てますます好感を持ちました。

ホロウナイトが生まれたから「器作り」は終えて、王はホロウナイトしか見なかった、他に作られた「器のなりそこない」が未練となってカゲとしてアビスに居続けた。
というのと、
王はムシ達からラディアンスという記憶を消して、自身が光になろうとして、ラディアンスを利用してハロウネストを永遠にしようとしたが実はラディアンスに利用されて、どうしようも出来なくなってホロウナイトを作り、封印した
みたいな考察を見た気がする
